Special Win in Pennsylvania
Schwank Wins Special Election in Pennsylvania

Congratulations to State Senator-elect Judy Schwank for her landslide victory in Pennsylvania’s 11th district. Giving Schwank a remarkable 58%, the voters of Berks County confirmed our belief that Judy Schwank is the most qualified candidate to lead the area. Despite being heavily outspent and facing an onslaught of negative advertising, Schwank stuck to her central message, reminding voters that she’s helped create thousands of jobs in Berks County and will always put people before politics.
Schwank’s win is a good sign for Democrats. In 2010, Pennsylvania Democrats lost the Governor’s residence, a U.S. Senate seat, five U.S. House seats, and control of the State House. Yesterday’s decisive victory in Berks County might mark the end of Republican momentum in Pennsylvania.
Devine Mulvey is proud to have worked with Judy Schwank, a gifted leader who will work hard for the people she represents.
