Working to Close the Gun Show Loophole
Reema Samaha was shot and killed along with 31 other victims at Virginia Tech on that tragic morning in April of 2007. Her killer got her gun because of a gap in Virginia’s gun background checks. In this spot, her brother, Omar Seemaha, urges legislators to close the “gun show loophole” which allows convicted criminals to purchase guns completely unchecked. Omar names one politician in particular, Keith Fimian, who won’t work to close the gun show loophole and asks why Fimian would protect criminals over us.
