Devine Mulvey Wins Eight Pollie Awards
Gold, Three Silver, Two Bronze, Honorable Mention

Devine Mulvey is proud to be the winners of eight Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants— possibly the most of any Democratic media firm.
Included in the two bags of hardware partner Julian Mulvey brought back to D.C. is a Gold Pollie for “Grande Como Tejas,” a Spanish Language spot produced for Farouk Shami’s gubernatorial campaign. Receiving one of the few Gold Pollies awarded at this year’s conference, “Grande Como Tejas” is a powerful spot that helped Farouk Shami win up to 38% of the vote in some Texas counties. This comes on the heels of the English language version winning a Reed Award for the Best Statewide Advertisement of 2010.
“It may have been the best Pollies ever,” declared Julian Mulvey. “The panels, the setting, catching up with far-flung friends. It was a terrific event.”
Devine Mulvey took home a silver Pollie for “Independence, Strength, Leadership” produced for Eliot Cuter for Governor. This spot helps Cutler separate himself from a very crowded field of candidates and establishes him as the Independent choice for Maine. The firm was also awarded two Silver Pollies for spots we produced for Steve Pagliuca for Senate, “Never Give Up,” a biographical spot that helped Steve tell his inspiring story, and “American Dream.” A spot we produced for Americans United for Safe Streets, “Next” was also honored with a Silver Pollie.
Bronze winners included “The Cycle” for Chris Doherty for Pennsylvania, also a Reed Award winner, and “All of Us” for Dan Burke for State Representative. Receiving an honorable mention was “Small Enough” produced for Steve Pagliuca for Senate.
