And the Pollie goes to…
Drum roll please…

Tad Devine and Julian Mulvey are proud to have brought home six awards from this year’s American Association of Political Consultants Pollie Awards. “2006 was such a hugely competitive cycle for candidates and consultants alike,” says Julian Mulvey. “We are very proud to have our work recognized by the AAPC.”
“Around the State” and “Protector,” both produced for Sanders for Senate, respectively took home silver and bronze Pollies for Independent U.S. Senate TV ads.
“Father” won the Bronze for U.S. House TV Ad. Produced for Carney for Congress, the ad features Joe Lech, a Republican who supported Don Sherwood, questioning how as a father he can support Sherwood amid the allegations of abuse by Sherwood’s mistress. Chris Cillizza, author of The Washington Post’s political blog “The Fix,” called “Father” one of the best ads of 2006.
In addition, “PA-10”, also produced for Carney for Congress, won Bronze in the Web Video category, and “Amy”, produced for Illinois State Rep. Kurt Granberg, won the Bronze for State Legislature TV Ad. “Spelling Bee,” produced for the Natural Areas, Parks and Streams Campaign was awarded an Honorable Mention for Ballot Initiative TV Ad.
Last year, the firm took home the Gold Pollie for National Issue Advocacy Ad for “Be A Witness,” and the year before that, the Gold Pollie for U.S. House TV with “Worst Thing.”
