Granberg is a true friend of the state of Illinois
Marine Lance Corporal Jonathan Kyle Price was killed in the line of duty by sniper fire in Iraq on January 13, 2006. “He had decided to become a Marine at a young age,” says Cheryl Price-Hunsell of her son in a testimonial produced for Illinois State Rep. Kurt Granberg. Price was 19 years old. A conservative hate group protested at his funeral.
Granberg is one of the lawmakers that fought for Illinois’s Let Them Rest In Peace Act banning protesters from military funerals. And someone Cheryl calls a true friend of the state of Illinois.
