“Worst Thing”? Best Thing!

January 24, 2005 - julianmulvey.com was recently awarded the Gold Pollie for Best Television Advertisement for a Democratic Congressional Candidate at the 2005 Pollie Awards. The winning ad, “Worst Thing” was filmed for Capri Cafaro for Congress (OH-14), and features the powerful, unscripted testimony of Dan Martich, a Vietnam veteran and a score by Mike Wolpe.

The Pollie awards are distributed annually by the American Association of Political Consultants, which received a record number of entries this year.
This year’s awards mark Mulvey’s 8th Pollie nod. Mulvey has produced ads for Senators Corzine, Dayton, and Nelson, among others. In 2004, he served as media consultant for St. Louis County Executive Charles Dooley and Congressional candidate Capri Cafaro.
