Tad on Politics Nation
Tad joined Executive Director of the DNC, Patrick Gaspard, on Al Sharpton’s Politics Nation to discuss how an improving economic environment will effect President Obama’s re-election prospects as well as Mitt Romney’s ongoing trouble to win the hearts of “core” Republican voters.
Drawing a sharp contrast between President Obama and Romney, Tad explained that while President Obama’s American Jobs Act is an innovative and bold attempt to create good jobs, Romney’s “jobs plan” is merely the same old failed economic policies of the Bush administration, policies that led our country “to the brink of another great depression.” As to why, core Republican voters cannot commit to Romney, Tad explains that Romney is perceived as inauthentic because “he’s been on both sides of big issues that matter to them”.
