Patrick Bonsignore

Patrick Bonsignore joined Devine Mulvey in the fall of 2009 and helped manage the media planning, budgeting, and buying for over 40 campaigns during the 2010 election cycle. As a copywriter, Patrick wrote over 30 scripts that went to air in Pennsylvania, Missouri, Illinois, and North Carolina. Patrick was proud to help the Democratic Party of Illinois buck the Republican tidal wave of 2010 and win the overwhelming majority of their races in contested seats, often outperforming those above them on the ballot.
Most recently, Patrick produced the nationally televised ad “Waiting For” for Mayors Against Illegal Guns. The spot received overwhelming press coverage including write ups in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Politico. The spot also appeared on Lawrence O’Donnell’s Last Word in a segment featuring Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Before joining the team, Patrick worked as a press intern in the Office of the Assistant to the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives compiling press clips and facilitating communication strategy for over 50 freshman and sophomore Democratic members of Congress. Patrick graduated from Boston College in May of 2008 with a concentration in Literature and Philosophy. While in Boston, Patrick wrote a weekly humor column for the school newspaper, The Heights, which was often funny but always weird. He also wrote, directed, and produced three short films in his senior year, one of which was hailed as “the best pick for comedy” by The Heights. In the spring of his senior year, Patrick’s poetry was published in Boston College’s bi-annual literary magazine, The Stylus, one of the oldest collegiate literary magazines in the country.
